Custom Types

Named lists of permitted values. A custom type can be used as the type of an operational parameter or of a table column, restricting that value to one entry in the list.

📄️List custom types

List the custom types defined for the contact centre, with the values each one permits.

📄️Create custom type

Create a custom type from a list of permitted values. The name must be unique across the contact centre and must not reuse a built-in parameter type.

📄️Update custom type

Update the permitted values or description of a custom type.

📄️Delete custom type

Delete a custom type. Check whether the type is still in use before deleting it.

📄️Check custom type usage

Report whether a custom type is referenced by an operational parameter or a table column. Call this before updating or deleting the type.
