This guide walks through the full NeonNow sign-up journey: subscribing through the AWS Marketplace, choosing a region, then creating your account — which becomes your first admin user — and your first organisation. By the end you'll be able to sign in to the NeonNow Admin app and start setting up a product.
Sign-up creates your NeonNow account and organisation. Once you're in, you set up the product you want to use — a contact centre in CX or campaigns in Outreach. See Set up a product at the end of this guide.
Before You Start
You'll need:
- Access to the AWS Console for the AWS account you want to subscribe from.
- A valid email address for the first admin user — you'll verify this address during sign-up, before you set a password.
You do not need any coding, AWS CLI or SDK experience to sign up.
Step 1: Subscribe Through the AWS Marketplace
NeonNow is a pay-as-you-go service billed through the AWS Marketplace, so usage appears as a line item on your AWS invoice.
- Sign in to the AWS Console for the AWS account you want to subscribe from.
- Open the Services menu and choose AWS Marketplace Subscriptions (or search for "Marketplace").
- Choose Discover products and search for NeonNow.
- Open the listing and choose View purchase options.
- Choose Subscribe. Once subscribed, choose Set up your account at the top right to launch the NeonNow sign-up wizard.
If you previously signed in to the NeonNow Admin app with a different account, sign out first before setting up the new subscription.
A single AWS account in a given region maps to one NeonNow organisation. You'd only have more than one subscription if you set up a separate organisation in a different region.
Step 2: Choose a Region
Before the sign-up wizard opens, choose the region where your data will be stored. You can't change this after your organisation is set up, so choose the region closest to your users.
Select a region, then choose Begin Sign Up. Choosing a region takes you to sign-up in that region, and the rest of the journey happens there.
Available Regions
NeonNow organisations can be hosted in the following regions:
| Region | Location | AWS region code |
|---|---|---|
| Sydney | Australia | ap-southeast-2 |
| Oregon | United States of America | us-west-2 |
| North Virginia | United States of America | us-east-1 |
| London | United Kingdom | eu-west-2 |
Your organisation is hosted in a single core region; there is currently no multi-region capability. All services within a region use multiple Availability Zones for resilience against localised data-centre failures. For more on how regions relate to your organisation, see Organisations.
Step 3: Create Your Account
The first step of the wizard creates your account, which becomes the first Org Admin of the organisation you create in the next step. It has three parts, completed in order: About You, Verify Your Email and Set a Secure Password.
Your email address is verified partway through this step, before you choose a password, so keep the inbox for that address open while you sign up.
About You
Provide:
- First name and Last name — your name is set here at sign-up (later invitations to other organisations won't ask for it again).
- Email address — this becomes the email you sign in with, so use an address you can receive mail at.
If the address already has a NeonNow account, choose Sign in on the Already have an account? prompt and sign in instead of creating a second one.
Verify Your Email
A verification email is sent to the address you entered — it may land in your
spam folder. The email contains a passphrase of three words and a number,
for example Illegal-salmon-clownfish-1.
- Enter the passphrase on the Verify Your Email screen. Each word and the number go in their own field, four fields in total.
- Confirm to verify the address.
If the email doesn't arrive, use the resend action on the same screen to send a new passphrase.
After verification, the email address is locked in as your login. You can still go back and change it, but you'll be asked to confirm a warning first, and the new address has to be verified in the same way.
Set a Secure Password
With your email verified, set the password you'll use to sign in to the NeonNow Admin app. Enter the password, confirm it, and continue.
Your password can be changed later from Security, and reset from the sign-in screen if you forget it.
Step 4: Your Organisation
Next, create the organisation your account will belong to. Provide:
- Organisation name — the name that identifies your organisation throughout the NeonNow Admin app.
- Organisation address — the organisation's full address, including the country it operates from. You can't change this after sign-up, so check it before you continue.
- Point of contact — the person we reach out to about the organisation. To use your own details, choose Use me as the point of contact and the contact fields are filled in from the account you just created.
Naming someone as the point of contact doesn't create an account for them or add them to your organisation. To give them access, invite them from User Management once you're signed in.
The organisation name and point of contact can be changed later from Organisation Settings. The organisation address can't — it stays as you entered it here.
Your account and your organisation now both exist, with your account as the organisation's first Org Admin user. The wizard then asks which product you want to set up, covered in Set up a product, and you can sign in to the NeonNow Admin app at any time.
After Sign-Up
Once you're signed in, you can:
- Add more people to your organisation — see User Management.
- Manage your own account (name, password, preferences) — see Account Management.
- Adjust organisation settings (name, point of contact) — see Organisation Settings.
Set Up a Product
With your NeonNow account and organisation ready, the next step is to set up the product you want to use:
- CX — set up a contact centre against your Amazon Connect instance, connect channels and configure your team. See the CX Getting Started guide.
- Outreach — start sending bulk SMS and email campaigns. See the Outreach Getting Started guide.
